Cheese . Half . Ink

One of my favorite episodes of Full House is definitely the one where Becky tells Uncle Jesse she is having a baby .  It makes me laugh every time. "Dances With Cheese. Driving Miss Cheesy.  Home Provolone."  Uncle Jesse just can't quite figure out the movie title Becky is trying to draw out in his own personal game of Pictionary.

Becky: (draws cheese) All right. Now, it’s a movie title.
Michelle: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Stephanie: No, Michelle, that’s cheese.
Jesse: Cheese.

Becky: Yeah, but it’s a movie title.
Jesse: Oh, oh, simple. Dances with Cheese.
Becky: No.
Jesse: Uh, uh, all right, all right, uh, uh, Driving Miss Cheesy.
Becky: No!
Jesse: Oh, I got it, I got it, I got it. Home Provolone, right?
Becky: Next clue.
Jesse: Um, half. Okay, cheese half, cheese ha...
Becky: Oh, okay, great; next clue.
Jesse: Bottle, um, beaker, bottle, vase... (Becky writes the word “ink” on the paper) Ink.
DJ: (sarcastically) Gee, you’re good, uncle Jesse.
Jesse: I’m pretty good. Okay, uh, cheese half ink, cheese half ink, she’s, she’s have..., she’s having.
Becky: Yeah! Yes! You got it. Okay, last clue.
Jesse: She’s having a... she’s having a... she’s having a hot dog.
Becky: No!
Jesse: Well, what? It’s clearly a bun with a wiener sticking out, with a happy face.
Becky: No, Jess, it’s not “she’s having a hot dog,” it’s “she’s having a baby.” And the ‘she’ is me. I’m having a baby!
Jesse: Oh, you’re having a... do you hear that, she’s having a... What? You’re having a baby! How did this happen? Well, I know how it happened. Really? Do you know what this means? We’re having a baby! I’m going to be a father! (Jesse faints)

Classic scene of episode 094 from season four.

My reveal wasn't quite this eventful for my husband.  He looked at the test before I did.  We found out we were expecting our hot dog on November 4th.  But we held it a secret until Christmas and this Christmas will go down in history as one of the best Christmas's yet.

Now you know why I wasn't able to get into the Christmas spirit this year.  It wasn't because I was a scrooge, it's because nausea took over for about 20 hours of the day and I just didn't have the energy to do anything.  I did manage to put some Santa Claus towels on my stove :) That counts right?  Next year it will be different.  We will be starting new traditions and celebrating with a new life.  It's going to be so amazing!

How far along am I and when is my due date you ask?  I'm 12 weeks today and our hot dog's scheduled date of arrival is July 10, 2012.  The doctor did say it's very possible to have a Fourth of July baby.  It doesn't matter to me.  As long as we have a strong healthy baby I couldn't care less about the day I get to see their precious baby face.

So bring on 2012! There's going to be a new kid on the block!

Four Years and Counting

Happy Anniversary.....yesterday! I didn't get time to post this yesterday due to a busy work day and a nice dinner with my husband and a quick stop for a Christmas gift.  Even though we got home around 7:30ish I was already ready for bed. This weather is making me sleepy and this work week has worn me out.  I am off today for no particular reason except that I wanted to be off.  Of course there was no sleeping in because Phoebe was up and at 'em at 6:30 this morning.

So I've decided to get some laundry going and get myself ready for the day.  I have a few errands to run and some food to make for a girl's night in at my friends house tonight.  I'm pretty excited about it because everyone is coming in their pajamas and that is right up my alley.  I made several batches of puppy chow last weekend and found a recipe for a lemon flavored one so I'm going to try that out today as well.  Im thinking about hitting up the mall only because I haven't gone this season yet to enjoy all the Christmas spirit.  AND.....I still haven't put up a tree yet.  AND.....it's probably not going to happen :( This does make me sad.  Next year, next year.

I can't believe Christmas is only 9 days away.  This year has gone by so fast and has been filled with a lot of changes within my family.  I'm ready to start the new year cause I can tell you now, it's going to be a good one.  I didn't stick to ANY of my resolutions last year so I'm just not going to make any this year.  Maybe if there is no pressure to accomplish stuff then it will actually get done.

Here are a few pictures of recent events.

Boy Meets All Rowelled Up

Okay, you know how much I love getting tweets from celebrities.  Well, oh Mr. Rider Strong himself sent me a little smile today :)

Soleil Moon Frye posted something yesterday about driving past a place she used to go for summer camp.  I remember her being in some summer camp movie on Disney several several years ago but I can never remember the name of it.  I asked her if she was in a summer camp movie with @onthestorm (Rider Strong) and it turns out that I was right.  Here is his response to me, he also retweeted my tweet.  I'm telling ya, it just makes my day.  I was in love with him on Boy Meets World! Who didn't love Shawn Hunter? I know I did.

It's true.  Summertime Switch RT @allrowelledup: @moonfrye Weren't you in a summer camp movie with  @onthestorm or did I just make that up?

It's the little things in life that make my day :)

Isn't he all grown up and handsome?

It's almost Christmas time! I can't believe it.  It's getting cold here in Oklahoma.

Thank You For All My Hands Can Hold

Time to get my grub on! Thanksgiving means it's time to kick off the Christmas season. I WILL NOT be participating in the craziness of Black Friday. You will find me at work where half of the office is gone and it will be wonderfully quiet. It's probably the best day to have to work. I save my time off from work for Christmas time. This year I managed to get the whole week after Christmas off and it's going to be amazing.

I plan on today being calm and relaxing. We only have one Thanksgiving dinner to attend and it's very close to our house. Not a lot of travel time. I've had a small breakfast this morning to save room for all the wonderful food that will be filling my plate. Bring. It. On.

Both Zach and I woke up at 4:36 this morning for no reason at all. We tried to go back to sleep but we were not successful. So we decided to turn the t.v on and we were just in time for the early morning block of Full House. A wonderful way to wake up. We decided that someone needs to publish a book of Danny Tanner lessons. Maybe I should just make my own to read to my kids one day.

Now, I'm watching my FAVORITE parade of all, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It really gets me in the holiday spirit. I wish I was in New York City so bad. One day I'm going to attend this parade and it's going to be awesome!

New York City Macy's

After a wonderful feast at my mother-in-laws today we are going to attend the Tulsa Oilers hockey game this evening. We've gone the past few years so it's become a little tradition now. We try to get all of our cousins together for a little cousin time but not all of them make it in.

I'm very thankful this year for many things. Mostly, the many blessings I receive every single day from my Lord and Saviour. I'm thankful every day for the people in my life and the amazing gifts that I know on most days I take for granted. I know God has a lot in store for Zach and I this next year and I promise to be still and linger in His love and take it in slow.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope there is peace and love at all your family gatherings this holiday weekend.

Lastly, I would like to give a shout out to my friends Alan and Lindsi and congratulate them on the birth of their new baby boy Cale who was born last Friday. I know what they are thankful for this year :)

Get your Christmas movies out, it's time!!!

Dog Days of Fall

Phoebe got the spa treatment this weekend at The Sloppy Dog Wash.  If you live in the Tulsa/Broken Arrow area you need to come give it a try.  With Phoebe it was definitely a 2 person job.  She's a big girl :) Other than this eventful event my weekend was pretty slow and laid back.  Those are the best! It gave me time to clean my garage (which I've been trying to do for weeks now) and get some things organized in the house.  My niece and nephew also spent the night with us this weekend and it's always good to have them around. We did double digit multiplication races.  Boy do I need to work on my multiplication.  I used to have it memorized but that was several several years ago :) I did learn that 6 and 8 went on a date and sat at table 48! Betcha I don't forget that one any more :)

I'm clean!

Have a good week! I can't believe next week is Thanksgiving!

Goodbye October

Hello November!! I love that the whole month of October we wind ourselves up for the goblins and ghouls and focus on the scary and insane but then BAM November 1st shows up and its time to get in the sweet Thanksgiving and Christmas spirit.  Nothing makes me happier! I hope I don't sit on a stump this month like I did in October and actually put some decorations up.  It's so not like me but I just got lost in other matters and never got around to it.  I promise I will do better this month!

This past weekend was a busy busy one.  My lovely husband turned the big 3-1 and we had our annual Halloween party which turned out great and really tame.  I won't bore you with all the stories, mostly because there aren't any stand out ones.  It was just a good weekend with good friends and family.

Please enjoy my weekend through pictures.

The Birthday Boy!

We ate at Joe Momma's Pizza.
They have AMAZING cheesesticks!

On the phone with who knows??

We celebrated his birthday at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa.
Stoney Larue was playing.  Don't feel bad if you have no clue who he is.  He is a "Red Dirt" country singer.  I knew like one song.  It was still a fun time.
We reserved the VIP area upstairs so we could enjoy the concert privately.
My husband may or may not have some connections ;)
