Kathryn Zaremba

Happy Friday to you and yours!!! I'm off work until the 26th and I'm loving it!!  My little vacay has started off very very cool.  Remember Michelle's friend Lisa from the 8th season of Full House?  You know, the redheaded one that was a part of The Mighty Mutant Super Kids club?  Well, I got to meet her today.  She is in town for a show at the Broken Arrow PAC tomorrow night and I kind of know someone who can get me backstage ;) so during lunch time today I strolled up there to get a glimpse of her rehearsing.  I know she isn't some mega superstar and she may not be known by people who aren't Full House fans but it's kind of a big deal to me to meet her.  So just go with it.

There she was, singing her little heart out on stage and having that same sweet face that she had on Full House.  I probably wouldn't recognize her in public but knowing it was her, I felt like I may have been on the set of Full House.

She stopped to take a break and that's when we moved in for the introduction.  I brought my season 8 Full House  DVD's with me and she was so sweet to sign it for me and take a picture.  We had a short little conversation where she filled me in on some pieces of her life.

-She lives in Washington, DC
-Her husband is from London.  He was there as well playing the piano for her.
-She used to hang out with Jonathan Taylor Thomas and the other boys of Home Improvement while hanging out on the Disney lot.
-She has her own Etsy shop.
-She does not keep in contact with anyone from Full House.

She was the absolute nicest and I feel like we should probably be friends in real life.  It's just always so exciting to me to meet someone you have only seen through the TV.  It's like I don't believe they are real until I see them.  I felt the same way the first time I saw Las Vegas and NewYork City.  They really do exist.

I encourage everyone to go check out her Etsy shop and website and show her some love from Oklahoma.....or wherever you are from.

We look like best friends, right?

Remember this face from Full House?

This is her Etsy shop.

And this is her wrapping paper.
How cute it this??

And I am flipping over the sweaters one!
Adorable!

Check out her website (katezarembacompany.com) and don't forget to follow her on Instagram (kathrynzaremba) and Twitter (@kathrnzaremba).

And don't forget about this redhead either.....

I'm gonna enjoy my 6 days off with her!!!

P.S.  While looking for pictures of Kathryn I stumbled across a website called
fullhousereviewed.com.  I've just glimpsed at one episode but I'm on my way back to read more.  If you are a Full House fan I think you might want to check it out.  Warning: There is cussing, so you've been warned.

Christmas Train

Took a trip out to The Christmas Train on Saturday. I've never been to Dry Gulch but now I want to live there in the little town. The addition of the snow was a pretty touch but man was it cold and a slick drive getting there.

We didn't get to see Santa so we will probably be making a trip to Bass Pro this weekend. Cross your fingers all goes well. We've been trying to expose her to Santa as much as possible to avoid the flip out. We'll see.

Bundle up!

Bye Bye November

Holy cow!! I can't believe tomorrow is the first day of December.  I wait for the kick off of the Christmas season every year starting on December 26th and I know it's going to take forever to get here and I think of all the other seasons and holidays we have to get through before I get to welcome this wonderful time of year again.  I can't help it.  I LOVE this time of year.  It just makes me happy.

I'm very excited to jump full on in to watching Christmas movies and attending Christmas events.  We are going to the Christmas Train for the first time next weekend and I'm so excited for it.  I've never been and I think Evelyn will love all the lights and people.  She likes to be in public.  She's good at it.  No crazy fits so far.  She really hasn't had any crazy fits at home either but she definitely lets us know when she's not happy with us :)

I know I've said it before but this little girl amazes us every day.  I am constantly impressed with what she knows.  She's the best!

Here's a little November wrap up of this busy little girls life.....

A little photo shoot in the backyard.
(Yes, it's her Halloween costume turned around.)

Lazy Saturday mornings watching cartoons.

Being fashionable.

Rocking out at her friends birthday party.

Waking up with crazy hair every morning.

Hanging out with her friends at Papa and Gigi's every day.

Oh, yeah, momma got her haircut.

Hanging out in the evenings in jammies.

Ruling the living room.

Falling asleep in the car.

Pretending to be asleep on the floor.

Christmas shopping!

Again, ruling the living room.

I really want to see this movie.

Looking super sweet on Thanksgiving.

NOT wanting to hear what daddy has to say at the table.

Checking out the Christmas tree.

And experiencing one of momma's favorite things to do this time of year.....hit the mall!

So thankful for this little girl and all the joy she brings to our family.

Christmas card pictures tomorrow.  Pray that everyone smiles and Phoebe stays still.

Happy Saturday!!!

When the husband buys you.....

.....a Christmas tree, you decorate it and don't hesitate.

Yes, there is already a Christmas tree up in our living room.  I was totally going to wait until after Thanksgiving to put up our tiny black, 5 foot, have to put it on a table to make an impact Christmas tree BUT I came home last week to a beautiful 7 foot, skinny, realistic green, pre-lit gift that almost brought me to tears.  If I recall correctly I did do some sort of scream.

So what do you do when there is a Christmas tree standing in your living room?  You start getting all your Christmas out before the husband realizes it's about to take over the house for the next two months.  I must say I haven't gone too overboard with my decorations around the house.  I actually have a lot I need to just get rid of because year after year I never use it.  I even told him I might be able to get all my Christmas stored away in two boxes.  Hope he doesn't hold me to that.

I will try to hold myself back from watching Christmas movies until Dece.....Okay, I can't even get through that sentence.  We all know that's not going to happen :)

Makes me happy :)

And so does this :)

Now I've got to start thinking of Christmas card ideas.

And possibly thinking about cutting my hair.....

?????????????

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Evelyn's 1st Official Halloween Costume

This little pumpkin pretty much makes my day! We were so excited to dress Evelyn up this year and be a part of the Halloween festivities.  I just love that hat! :)

Not sure yet how to carry the bucket.  But if this is the way she wants to carry it then that's what we will go with.

Daddy and his pumpkin.

Momma and her girl!

This is an action shot.  She was dancing away to some Mickey Mouse music.
This girl will dance to anything.  Really.  The washing machine, dishwasher, toilet flushing, daddy cooking eggs.....It's the best!

Our first stop for candy.....Papa and Gigi's!

That face!!!!

Another action shot.  She did so good going up to the houses.  Don't worry, we only went to like  four. We weren't going to be those parents that fill the whole bucket knowing that she really isn't going to eat any of it.  But I wish she would've at least grabbed some chocolate and not the suckers!  I'll teach her about the good stuff next year ;)

So proud of this little girl.  She impresses me every day with what she learns from us teaching her and what she just picks up on her own.  We are truly truly blessed!

Happy Monday!
