Give me a 10! Give me a 9!

These years seem kind of dull to me. Not much going on. I spent these years riding my bike A LOT and hanging out with the neighborhood kids. We even formed a kids club and we would meet after school and we had an agenda. The agenda usually consisted of playing games and making up dance routines. We even had a little "bank". Once we raised some money we walked up to the local conveienant store and bought some Little Debbie snacks, some Sun Drop (it was only 25 cents for a little bottle) and some chips. We thought we were so grown up. :)

My brother and I baby sat a lot for the neighbor down the street. She had four kids! Four little kids, one being less than a year old and one having special needs, were in trusted to a 10 and 11 year old. That mother did what she needed to do to support her family which meant working more than one job. Looking back now as an adult I don't know how she did it. Like I said, she did what she had to do.

I recently got in contact with her a couple of years ago and it turns out one of her sons lived here in my town going to Rhema Bible college. Small world huh? I never got the chance to meet up with him before he moved but it was neat to see their pictures on Myspace and see how they grew up.

So, lets move on to a current event taking place in my life. As of next week my newest album will be on itunes. I'm pretty friggin' excited about it. For those of you who don't know me or for those that have skipped the posts where I've talked about my "music career" it's something that is very very dear and important to me. I sold two, count 'em, two CD's a few years ago :) I'm hoping to spread the word and maybe get some help from you to promote my album and pay my brother back for getting everything up and running. :) I definitely will be keeping you up to date about itunes and the other site to find it on. I hope you at least give it a listen and give me some feedback.
